Purpose of Role

The Human Resources Rookie will be part of the SAPAC HR team to support the day-to-day operation and administer various Human Resources policies, procedures, and processes in accordance with laws, standards and government regulations in Singapore.

We will prioritize candidates who can dedicate themselves to a full-time 6-month internship.
 

Your Impact Work closely with HRBPs to communicate and administer various Human Resources policies, procedures, and processes in accordance with laws, standards and government regulations. Provide administrative support, as needed to HR Director/General Manager and HRBPs. (Including creating and maintaining organizational charts, some scheduling, coordination, and preparation for key meetings). Support both retail and corporate employee life cycle Ensure compliance with local labour laws & advisories  Support Talent Acquistion in candidate management tasks, which encompass activities such as screening, managing candidate inquiries, and handling resumes and communications as directed within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Assist and support with Talent Acquisition initiatives like the Rookie Program, Campus Fair, Employee Referral Program, Employee Branding initiatives, and various other projects Gather documentation for terminations and resignations and ensure that all documentation is returned for timely processing.  Assist with onboarding of new teammates in partnership with Recruiter, Onboarding team, and Hiring Manager  Schedule/conduct exit interviews and analyze data & make recommendations for continuous improvement  Oversee & manage all teammates' engagement activities and recognition programs for retention. Promote & establish a positive teammate experience; drive the UA culture through all levels of the business unit  Office management duties as required  What Exposures Will You Gain By The End Of The Internship

•    Familiarity with the fundamentals of Human Resources, including local labor laws, advisories, and the skill set required for an HR generalist role.
•    Ability to understand and gain hands-on experience to support employee life cycle 
•    How to communicate across a diverse organisation with many different cultures, geographies and preferences

Who Are We Looking For?

•    Strong interest in Human Resources is an advantage
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
•    Strong multi-tasking skills & sense of urgency (good time management)
•    Takes initiative and able to work independently with strong follow-up skills
•    Independent learner who is open to being guided by Seniors & Managers within the organization
•    Team player mindset with communication & collaboration skills

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
