Position Summary: The Human Resources intern position provides college and university students with an overview of HR through department specific projects, assignments, and learning activities.

 

The Internship Program will begin on May 28th, 2025 and end on August 6th, 2025.

Responsibilities Shadows department leaders in all areas of HR, to include: Engagement, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Talent Acquisition Operations, Employee Relations, Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, HR Operations, and Corporate AdministrationCompletes department specific weekly assignments and projects to gain a better understanding of the various functions within the HR departmentParticipates in learning activities through department meetings and associate interviews that provide an overview of department roles and responsibilitiesAttends internship meetings hosted by the Internship Liaison and corporate executive teamParticipates in company-wide projects and meetings to include: Townhall calls, RPMServes community service activities, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) initiativesCompletes a final program assessment/evaluation with the Director of Engagement and SVP of HRPerforms other duties as assigned Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Must be available for the duration of the program; May, 28th - August, 6th 2025Currently enrolled in an accredited Human Resources, or other relevant college or university degree programCurrent college student – Junior year or entering senior yearAbility to work efficiently and meet deadlinesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent oral and written communication skillsCurrent valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements:

May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to read documents, computer screens and dataMust be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computerMay occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 poundsMust be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week.The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.  Company Information
