Who We Are Looking For

Reporting to the HR Talent Team, the Human Resources Intern will serve as a resource to the HR Talent, HR Learning, and Talent Acquisition teams at Clearway. The primary purpose is to gain knowledge and hands-on experience of core HR functions and provide support to the applicable teams and the business. 

This position is part of the 10-week Summer Internship Program at Clearway Energy Group beginning in June 2025.

We are looking for students pursuing their bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Throughout this summer internship program, you’ll get exposure to real projects and challenges while gaining first-hand professional experience. At Clearway, you’ll gain access to an innovative and fast-paced work environment. You’ll also participate in networking and learning events with your fellow intern cohort. 

This hybrid position can be based in San Francisco, Scottsdale, or our Houston office.

What You'll Be Doing

The Human Resources Intern primary responsibilities will include:

Provide primary support to the HR Talent team, partner with the Talent Acquisition team, and across the business in a client-facing role Assist in the recruiting process by providing front-end assistance with sourcing, scheduling interviews, assisting with offers, and maintaining the email inbox. Assist with moderately complex HR activities including preparation of reports, developing metrics, supporting programs (e.g., diversity & inclusion, performance reviews, etc.), and other projects as needed Provide positive customer service by responding to employees and managers on training-related questions. . Maintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, integrity, respect, and teamwork in all matters. Assist with special projects as assigned What You'll Bring Uphold standards of discretion and confidentiality as well as exercise good judgment and integrity in day-to-day decisions. Entrepreneurial spirit and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with a “hands-on” team player approach and experience dealing with complex administrative tasks.  Strong ability in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint). Experience with HR Databases, HRIS Systems, and Talent systems, preferably Kronos, SalesForce, and Lumesse, TalentLink a plus. Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, bias for action, and deliver results. A positive attitude, highly motivated, and the ability to maintain a culture that is based on teamwork, respect, and integrity. What Would Be Nice Basic Human Resources Experience. Customer Service Experience.
