Key responsibilities for this role include:

Protect the organization’s IT assets as a member of the Global Security Team.

Perform duties as assigned in supporting projects, improvements, enhancements, and other relevant activities of our Global Security Awareness & Training program.

Duties may include content creation and maintenance of the team’s intranet site, assisting with the management of our simulated phishing program, and promoting security awareness in new and engaging ways in order to further drive a more secure culture at Viatris.

Maintain an up-to-date understanding of emerging trends and techniques regarding information security threats, risk, and best practices.

This role will perform as an individual contributor.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

The successful candidate will have preferably completed a minimum of their sophomore year and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in one or a combination of the following areas: MIS, IT, or Computer / Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Communications, Marketing, Visual Arts, or related fields of study.

A minimum 3.0 GPA is strongly preferred; however, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

Must possess strong problem-solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to set and work to deadlines.

Must be at least intermediate level with Excel and PowerPoint.

Proficiency in speaking, comprehending reading and writing English is required.

The salary range for this position is:  if pursuing Bachelor's degree = $20/hour, if pursuing Master's degree = $25/hour, if pursuing Doctorate degree = $30/hour.
