Purpose of Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Legal Intern to join our legal team. In this role, you will work closely with experienced legal counsel, providing support across a variety of commercial legal matters across various markets in the South APAC region, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Australia, and India. This role provides an opportunity to collaborate with different teams and departments within the company, offering valuable insights into the legal operations of a global sports retail company.

Your Impact Assist with drafting, reviewing, and revising commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents. Collaborate with multiple departments (such as marketing, finance, and operations) to offer legal support for commercial projects, including marketing campaigns and operational assistance across various markets within the South APAC region. Conduct legal research on commercial law topics and offer insights on legal risks and solutions. Provide administrative support and maintain legal databases, track contract statuses, and manage document filing. Stay updated on relevant legal developments, especially in the commercial sector. Qualifications Final year student pursuing Bachelor of Laws or related field. Prior internship experience in a legal environment is an added advantage. Strong interest in commercial law, corporate law, or business transactions. Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating with a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). What Exposure Will You Gain By The End Of The Internship

Workplace Location

 

Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Singapore office. Return To Work Designation: Hybrid - 2 days (Monday and Friday) Work From Home will be allowed  Relocation No relocation provided

 

Base Compensation

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
