BASIC PURPOSE: \n
Massachusetts Water Resources Authority operates and maintains waterworks infrastructure that includes two Water Treatment Plants, two deep rock water supply tunnels, surface aqueducts and water storage tanks. The Authority uses the computerized maintenance management software Maximo. The Maintenance Engineering Intern will assist the Senior Program Manager in the support of the maintenance program and operational documentation.\n
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \n\nCollaborate with the Work Coordination group, trade personnel and operational personnel to develop job plans and operation plans, drawing information from Operational and Maintenance Manuals\nField verifies and makes corrections and\/or additions to the equipment data records.\nAssist with the consolidation and modification of detailed records to support the Valve Preventative Maintenance Program and system operations.\nReview Operational and Maintenance Manuals and Facility Manuals for consistency of data within Maximo.\nRelated duties in support of the development and optimization of a pro-active maintenance program.\n\n
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nCivil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering undergraduate\nStrong computer skills with knowledge of Windows, and Microsoft Office programs including Access, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Project.\nKnowledge of the Maximo work order system is not required, but knowledge of relational databases such as Access is desirable.\nNOTE: Intern must provide their own transportation to the Southborough Maintenance Facility, as public transportation to and from Southborough is non-existent. Must have a valid Massachusetts Class D Motor Vehicles Operators License.\n\n
