Overview of Job Function

Verint is currently seeking a Marketing Analyst intern is responsible for assisting the marketing operations team with a wide range of tasks. Mostly focusing on assisting the team with the operational elements around marketing analysis. The intern will assist with data collection across the different platforms, joining data sources and data clean-up. Our goal is to provide the intern with exposure to potential career opportunities within Verint while leading projects that are critical to a function or business unit. Our interns are encouraged to bring fresh ideas to the table and are quickly entrusted with foundational responsibilities. This is a hybrid position. The intern will report into our Columbia, MD office about once a week, and work remotely the other days.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

Audit & Cleanse Contact Lists: Review, update, and maintain email marketing databases to ensure accuracy and compliance. Data Validation: Identify and remove duplicate, outdated, or incorrect contact information. Segmentation & Organization: Categorize contacts based on engagement levels, demographics, and preferences. Email Campaign Support: Assist in setting up and testing email campaigns to ensure deliverability and effectiveness. Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure email lists comply with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant regulations. Performance Tracking: Monitor email bounce rates, unsubscribe trends, and engagement metrics to improve campaign effectiveness. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align email strategies with broader marketing goals.

Minimum Requirements:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets. Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce). Basic understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM). Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Successful completion of Verint background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verification

 

 

MIN: $20/HR

MAX: $30/HR
