Intern, Material Management & Supply Chain

Job Description

This application is for a 12-week internship role from June - August 2025. Resume review begins in January 2025. 

Position Description 

Biogen is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college intern to support the Material Management and Supply Chain function. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to work on a project aimed at assessing our current inventory of materials stored in recycle-containers, evaluating their alignment with process needs, and conceiving of new processes to manage these materials and to improve efficiency and sustainability. 

Example projects may include: 

Assess materials in recycle-containers and analyze their relevance to current manufacturing processes Employ Excel and data analysis skills to organize, track, and evaluate material inventory data. Present findings and recommendations to management, providing insights on how to optimize material handling processes. 

QualificationsCurrently pursuing a life Science degree or related field Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong data analysis capabilities. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Prior experience or coursework related to material management, supply chain, or manufacturing. 

To participate in the Biogen Internship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria: 

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date Be currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college or university 

Education 

Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Master's Degree

This role is on-site in Research Triangle Park, NC
