Intern, Material Planning Administrator, Summer 2025

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our team of material planners and perform data analysis, manage supplier KPI’s, and work closely with our team of launch and program managers to assist with the launch of new vehicle programs.  The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Supply Chain and be able to work independently and collaboratively to ensure our systems are functioning efficiently.  

Role/Responsibilities: 

Work in Microsoft excel to help build Clear to build analyses.   Collaborate with Material planners to report out on supplier KPI’s such as OTIF deliveries, transportation lead time updates in SAP, and buildable variants as requested.   Work cross functionally with commercial, quality, launch, and program teams for gravity part deployment  Update work instructions, training manuals as instructed.   Assist team with exception management in SAP as instructed / able.  

 Preferred Qualifications: 

Field(s) of study: Supply Chain, Industrial engineering  Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited university.   Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS, PhD)   Knowledge of MRP / ERP and supply and demand  Advanced Microsoft excel  Knowledge of Smartsheet  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment 

Program Information: 

Timing: May- August, or June-September pending class schedules.  Duration of Internship: Our internship program is 12 weeks; the end date is flexible based on individual needs. Work Location & Environment: This position will be in Casa Grande, AZ, and is fully in-person. You must be prepared to start onsite for your first day of employment. The working environment will be a mix of lab & office work. Compensation: Student compensation is based on location and current degree level, non-negotiable ranging from $26 to $38. Relocation: May be provided on a case to case basis.  Housing/Transportation: You must provide your own living arrangements and transportation in the local area.   Background Check: All offers of employment are contingent on clearing a background check.  Drug Screening: All offers of employment are contingent on passing a drug screen.  Medical benefits: Dental, vision, and medical on day 1 for all interns working full-time.
