Get to Know the Team

The Technical Infrastructure team improves the effectiveness of Grab's Technology and Data Platforms, which serve millions of users daily. Our mission is to build a suite of platforms that enable Grabbers to work smarter, faster, and more collaboratively.

Get to Know the Role

We're looking for a passionate Product Design Intern to join our team and help craft user-friendly, thoughtful experiences. You'll work with designers, product managers, and engineers to explore ideas, design solutions, and make an impact.

You will report to Senior Design Manager. This is a paid internship role and is based onsite in Petaling Jaya.

 

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, researchers, PMs, and developers to create intuitive product experiences.You will contribute to user flows and interactive prototypes.You will assist with user research to uncover insights and inform design decisions.You will participate in design critiques, share your thinking, and refine your work based on feedback.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

You will need to start the internship in July 2025 with a minimum duration of 3 months.You will need a portfolio showcasing your design thinking, process, and approach.Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design standards.Understanding of user-centered design principles and visual design fundamentals.Curiosity, creativity, and a passion for making digital products better for people.
