About the Role

As a Risk Intern at AIA Re, you will work closely with our risk management team to support critical risk assessment, modeling, and reporting activities. This 6-month internship will provide you with hands-on experience in the reinsurance industry and exposure to various aspects of enterprise risk management.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Assist in the collection, analysis, and management of reinsurance exposure data from ceding business unitHelp develop and maintain risk system (eGRC) to assess the impact of various risk factors on the AIA Re's operationSupport the preparation of risk reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and other stakeholdersParticipate in risk committee meetings and contribute to discussions on emerging risks and mitigation strategiesConduct research and analysis on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in reinsurance risk managementProvide general support to the risk management team as needed, including ad-hoc data analysis and project coordination

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education – Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, mathematics, or actuarial scienceExperience – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and complex modelsCertifications/licenses – N/ASpecial skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical information into easy-to-understand insights
