As an Intern Device Compact Modeling at Micron, you will be responsible for spice model development in support of advanced memory technology through device level data analysis and CMOS spice model extraction. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop and enhance spice models based on bench and volume parametric data.
Communicate with CAD, Process Integration, Design Engineering, Product Engineering, and Quality Assurance to validate the accuracy and predictability of models.
Establish electrical specifications and design rules through collaboration with technology development and design engineering teams.
Verify spice models and sub-circuits via circuit simulations.
Document model performance metrics for communication to worldwide design teams.
Analyze DC and AC device data and perform advanced characterization as needed.
Oversee the design and validation of test structures.
Validate spice models against benchmark circuits.
Successful Candidates for this position will have:
Strong working knowledge in semiconductor CMOS device physics
Strong command of Linux/Unix.
Fluency in English Language - written & verbal
Basic Programming in Python/R
Education:
Pursuing Dual Degree (B.Tech+M.Tech), Masters (MTech, MS) or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or in an equivalent area.
