Starting Hourly Rate: $20 per hour.

 

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is looking for an experienced Intern - Technical Support (R&D Engineer) to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow. 

 

GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 60 years of expertise, GD-OTS designs, develops, manufactures, and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.

Major Position Responsibilities Supporting the Technology Engineering group in all aspects of product development.Depending on capabilities of the applicant, this support would include:Extract Data from databases.Support internal customers to fill requests for data and other statistical analysis with supervision.Perform analysis on existing data and identify root causes for data inaccuracies.Monitor the implementation of engineering change requests and test each one to ensure it works as designed. Basic Qualifications

Completed a minimum of 2 years in an Engineering discipline, working towards a BS in Engineering.

 

This is a Year-Round Internship located on-site at our facility in Lincoln, NE.
