We are seeking a motivated Technology Summer Intern to support and enhance our IT department's internal communication efforts. This internship will focus on improving the functionality, content, and design of our internal intranet site, making it a central resource for team collaboration and knowledge sharing. Additionally, the intern will help develop and execute targeted social media and internal communication strategies to keep the broader organization informed and engaged with IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement updates to the IT department’s internal intranet site to improve user experience, navigation, and content. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the intranet provides relevant and timely information. Create and manage internal social media and communication campaigns to promote IT projects, events, and achievements across the organization. Develop creative content, including blog posts, newsletters, and visual assets, for internal distribution. Support data gathering and analysis to measure engagement and effectiveness of communications and site updates. Assist in identifying and implementing new intranet features or technologies to enhance collaboration and productivity. Participate in project management and coordination activities, including tracking milestones, managing timelines, and supporting cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful project delivery.Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Strong communication and writing skills with an interest in content creation and design. Experience with intranet platforms, coding/development, or web development is a plus. Familiarity with social media management and internal communication tools is desirable.
