What you do:
As an Underwriting Business Analyst Intern, you will support our analytics team and key stakeholders by developing dashboards, streamlining reporting processes, and fulfilling other ad-hoc data needs. Your work will have a direct impact on business decisions and improvements.
Build, develop, and maintain data models to provide analytical support for local leadership. Contribute to global projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables. Recommend process improvements based on data analysis, emerging trends, and market research.
What you bring:
We’re looking for college seniors or rising seniors pursuing degrees in Underwriting programs, Insurance, Data Analysis and Management, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Finance and/or related Business majors.
Experience in developing data models (academic, project-based, or practical). Experience conducting data analyses and providing actionable insights. Strong adaptability in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to meeting challenges. Ability to learn quickly, apply new concepts, and enhance reporting processes. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed. High accountability for your work, with a focus on continuous improvement. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI highly preferred.
