Intern: Manufacturing Engineering/Technical Prep (Summer 2025)

We are the Technical Preparation Engineer team focused on the Chassis and Final Assembly for the conventional range in the Quality and Engineering department of Group Trucks Operations (GTO).

As a Technical Preparation Engineer (TPE) Intern for Chassis and Final Assembly, you are an integral team member in a cross functional environment – creating product solutions with a goal of seamless introductions into our manufacturing assembly and adding value for our customers.

Minimum Education and Experience

Strong writing or communication skills Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors currently enrolled and pursuing a BS Degree in Engineering; no work experience required Student should have minimum GPA of 2.75 Summer interns may work up to 40 hours per week  What’s in it for you?

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For all intern and co-op positions, the hourly range is set at $16.00 - $46.00. The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
