Are you a student looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction equipment manufacturing industry? Join our team at Volvo Construction Equipment North America as a Supply Chain and Logistics Intern, where you'll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to our continuous improvement efforts!

What you'll do:

As an intern in our department, you'll be immersed in real-world supply chain and logistics operations. You'll also have the exciting opportunity to explore and implement innovative technologies, such as Microsoft Power Apps, to enhance process efficiencies. This role is flexible, and responsibilities will be tailored to align with your academic and professional goals, offering a unique learning experience that prioritizes your growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support various projects within supply chain and logistics.

- Learn and apply Microsoft Power Apps and other digital tools to improve operational processes.

- Assist in identifying areas for efficiency improvement and develop solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and optimize workflows.

- Gain exposure to real-world challenges in supply chain management and logistics operations.

Who are you?

- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

- Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75

- Spring interns can work up to 30 hours per week

- Interested in learning about new technologies and applying them in a practical business setting.

- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.

- Eager to learn, innovate, and contribute to a dynamic, forward-thinking team.

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For all intern and co-op positions, the hourly range is set at $16.00 - $46.00. The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
