**Job Overview:**
The HSE Intern will assist the HSE Department in their daily operations related to health, safety, and environment. This internship will provide valuable practical experience and learning opportunities across various facets of HSE. The intern will participate in projects and initiatives, contributing to the improvement of the company's HSE performance.
**Under supervision and with guidance, you will be involved in learning and assisting with:**
+ **Health (Industrial Hygiene & Occupational Health)**
+ Assist in conducting workplace health risk assessments and recommendations, including physical hazards (noise, human vibration, etc.), chemical hazards (air quality, chemical exposure monitoring, etc.), biological, psychological, and ergonomic hazards
+ Assist in implementing and managing industrial hygiene programs to control and mitigate health hazards
+ Assist in implementing and managing food hygiene and sanitation programs
+ Support developing and implementing occupational health programs, including health surveillance and medical monitoring
+ Promote employee well-being through health education and awareness campaigns
+ Research and analyze occupational health regulations and best practices
+ **Safety:**
+ Assist in safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
+ Assist in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting
+ Track and analyze safety data, identifying trends and areas for improvement
+ Assist in the implementation and maintenance of safety procedures and programs
+ Research and recommend safety best practices
+ **Environment:**
+ Assist with environmental monitoring, data collection, and analysis
+ Prepare environmental reports and presentations
+ Research and analyze environmental regulations and ensure compliance
+ Support implementing environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001 & PROPER)
+ Assist with waste management, recycling programs, and pollution prevention initiatives
+ Contribute to environmental sustainability projects
**Essential Qualifications and Education:**
+ Active college student in D3/D4/S1
+ Applicants should not be participating in another internship program
+ Currently pursuing a bachelor's in occupational safety and health, Public Health, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
+ Internship placement is available in McDermott Batam Fabrication Yard and the minimum duration should be done in (3 Months)
