As an intern consultant for hotel real estate at Cushman & Wakefield, you will support the hotel team in conducting valuations, analysis, and consultancy tasks. You will assist the valuer during the valuation process, manage databases, and contribute to market studies, feasibility analyses, and valuation reports while gaining essential experience in the hotel real estate market.The start date for the internship is flexible and can be arranged in consultation. During the internship, there is space to conduct a graduation research project. Your specific requirements can be discussed during the recruitment process. Key Responsibilities for the Role:Analysis Tasks: Conducting analyses for hotel valuations, including reviewing hotel performance (e.g., profit and loss statements and STR figures) and examining public records such as cadastre and zoning plans.Report Writing: Assisting in drafting various reports, particularly valuation reports and market studies.Database Management: Maintaining and updating hotel real estate market databases, ensuring the accuracy of stored information and adding new data as required.Inspections: Accompanying registered valuers on inspections of hotels being valued.Presentation Preparation: Supporting the preparation of presentation materials for client meetings or internal discussions.Important Notes for the Internship:This role focuses on learning and developing specific knowledge and skills. You will primarily work under the guidance of experienced registered valuers. Besides learning on the job, you will have time to conduct a research project / paper for your university. Intern should be in his/her final study year (graduation year).Required Attributes:Fluency in Dutch and a proficient use of English is a must-have requirement. Willingness to Learn: This is a learning opportunity. We understand that interns have limited professional experience and the team will support you in your learning journey. What we look for, however is a really strong motivation to learn and grow in the hospitality real estate sector. Analytical Skills & Excel Proficiency: Affinity for financial figures is crucial, as the role involves analyzing financial statements and working with valuation models.Communication Skills: Strong written communication is vital for effective reporting of findings.
