The intern will complete formal product training and will have an opportunity to interview and collaborate with internal stakeholders to help inform their designs. The intern will be guided by a creative brief as they create a series of full-color designs. Final designs may be used by our sales team during the consultative sales process, in social media and other opportunities. The intern will present their designs and project takeaways during a group presentation to leaders and other stakeholders during the final week of the internship. This is a great opportunity for rising junior- and senior-level architecture and interior design students to work with a global building products manufacturer. Final projects will be a great addition to your design portfolio as you start your career. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** _To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, including but not necessarily limited to the following:_ + Work independently to complete product training on our digital learning management platform. + Gather insight from creative briefs, discussions with product experts, market knowledge and other sources to use as a launching off point for the design process. + Coordinate individual design elements (products) and colors to create unified designs that meet the needs of each creative brief. + Collaborate with product experts, the sales team and other stakeholders to understand the best use case for products. + Employ good time management skills to meet defined targets and deadlines throughout the internship. + Create a final PowerPoint presentation that showcases completed designs and other key takeaways learned throughout the internship. **Qualifications** **KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION:** (Minimum Education and/or Experience required) + Rising junior or senior in an accredited degree program in Architecture or Interior Design. + Previous design experience creating color drawings/renderings either by hand or through the use of design software as demonstrated through portfolio samples. + Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint; InDesign and Photoshop; SketchUp or other design/rendering software. + Strong verbal and written communications. + Ability to work independently and in groups. + Ability to analyze design challenges and synthesize product information to arrive at a design solution. + Ability to present your ideas using Powerpoint + Hybrid (3 days office, 2 WFH). + **Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.** + **Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.** **Primary Location** : US-NJ-Lebanon **Job Type** : Sales **Req ID:** 2500016
