The Brand Innovation, Marketing Internship will allow the successful candidate to greatly enhance their real-life experiences and learn modern skillsets within the field that they are studying. It is an outstanding opportunity to get hands-on experience being involved in category analytics and marketing strategy in the food industry.
Responsibilities Support a Brand Innovation lead on a key product development initiative by: Support in due diligence of new business opportunities by leveraging consumer insights, retail data (e.g. Nielsen), and market trends research. Design product development learnings plans to validate / invalidate hypotheses to steer strategic product positioning Defining the core value proposition for new platforms and products, aligning with Product on nutritional claims. Identify and prioritize the target audience segments, understanding their changing needs, consumption habits and barriers. Other duties as assigned Requirements• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program related to the field of marketing, business, innovation
• Highly analytical and a quick study on data tools, strong attention to detail, experience with Retail data a plus
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Desire to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines
• Interest in consumer-packaged goods industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Tools
• Ability to be on-site in our Soho, NY office up to 4 days a week.
