Advanced Energy has devoted four decades to perfecting power for its global customers and is headquartered in Denver, Colorado. **POSITION SUMMARY:** Administratively assists the NPI and Commodity buyers in operational, systemic and procedural aspects of the materials management process for assigned products or commodities. Assists buyers in contacting vendors to obtain prices, delivery dates, and order expediting. Prepares standard requests for quotation, pricing revisions, delivery date revisions and invoice discrepancies. Responsible to provide optimum effectiveness and efficiency in customer service to support the organizational objectives. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Prepare purchasing paperwork such as reschedule report, open order report, past due, and open quote report as directed by buyers and materials management personnel. + Identify and communicate any purchasing issues or problems with delivery/ pricing discrepancy. + Assist materials group with updating dashboard metrics. + Facilitates RMA requests for discrepant material. + Perform cost analysis/comparison from supplier-to-supplier part to part. + Maintain material master, info record and source list accuracy. + Follow-up with suppliers as needed. + Assist as directed. **WORK ENVIRONMENT:** + Works in a standard office environment and uses general office equipment. **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Ability to work in a demanding environment; juggling simultaneous demands for attention. + General understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), planning functions, shop floor processes and materials. + Excellent judgment and initiative, including the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Excellent computer skills, including accurate data entry and experience with PC applications such as SAP, Word, Excel, and other related database software. + Strong critical thinking skills. **EXPERIENCE:** + 0-3 years of experience working in a procurement or manufacturing and New Product Introduction environment **EDUCATION:** + Must currently be enrolled in a degree seeking program including Busines Management, Supply Chain, or other applicable area of study **COMPENSATION:** _As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
