Intern - Category Sourcing Manager, Global Procurement

Job Description

Do you have a passion in building a career in procurement? We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our Global Procurement internship program.

Your internship will equip you with knowledge and skills required for the role as a Category Sourcing Manager you aspired to be. Depending on the project(s) assigned, you will participate in:

Development and implementation of sourcing strategies and projects related but not limited to cost reduction initiatives, supply base optimization, and pricing/contract negotiation.

Perform cost analysis for assigned category.

Acquire technical requirements/specifications and understanding of products to be purchased.

Coordinate and drive procurement activities with advanced packaging stakeholders.

Ownership of purchase-to-pay activities for advanced packaging technology development tools.

Recommend cost saving initiatives, alternative sourcing, and vendor evaluation criteria.

Content/Project of internship

Responsible for purchase-to-pay activities for advanced packaging technology development tools

Execution of Global Procurement sourcing strategies

Negotiate with suppliers to meet business needs

Support capital budgeting and cash flow management

Manage technology development cost saving initiatives

Implement and drive process improvement

Develop knowledge to serve as a consultant for procurement process and supplier-related issues.

Requirements

Business or supply chain administration or related major

Highly motivated with a desire to learn

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese

Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

Target candidates:
