We are looking for a motivated third-year or fourth-year, bachelor’s study in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Engineering student! The D&L Quality department is an essential hub in our organization. This department is focused on providing quality oversight on Distribution & Logistics operational activities. The team consists of three employees, all of whom have extensive knowledge and experience in Good Distribution Practices within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry. The team works closely with other departments within the company to achieve the stated goals.
Your internship assignment
As an intern, you will be responsible for providing support on quality oversight on Distribution and Logistics operational activities such as supplier deviation investigations and reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Your responsibilities
• Lead and support supplier deviation investigations within transportation, logistics & distribution.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve the performance of transportation lanes.
• Improve the process for reporting internal and external KPIs.
• Provide a fresh perspective to the department by sharing your opinion.
The described tasks form the basic package and will often be performed independently after a proper training and learning period. These tasks may be supplemented with other projects and/or tasks on your own initiative or at the request of the organization.
What is required
• Third-year or fourth-year bachelor student in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or similar.
• Familiarity with Quality Systems, knowledge of global Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and improvement projects.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Available for a period of minimum 5 months for 4-5 days per week
