Previous internship/co-op experience in field of study Proficient in Python, C/C++, Java, JavaScript, with experience in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and web development tools (e.g., ReactJS, Flask).Hands-on experience with machine learning models, full-stack applications, and academic or industrial AI research projects.
Skilled in using tools like Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks, and MATLAB for data analysis and visualization.

As an AI Development Intern in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:
Work on innovative projects related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics to improve the performance of Framatome’s Installed Base Business UnitAssist with the execution of AI and machine learning projects, including data collection, preprocessing, and model development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI applications within the nuclear energy sector.
Conduct research and analysis to stay updated on the latest AI technologies and trends.
Develop and implement algorithms to solve complex problems and improve operational efficiency.
Participate in innovation workshops and brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and solutions.
Support the preparation and presentation of project updates and findings to stakeholders.

Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $24.00 - $30.77 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
