Commercial reporting is responsible for providing analytical support and reporting for the Commercial Lending organization. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to making productive contributions to corporate projects as required, fulfilling scheduled and ad hoc reporting and data needs for all Commercial teams and external partners, and preparing thorough and relevant analysis of Commercial Lending operations and processes as required. Job Description Assist with developing and maintaining appropriate analysis for the Commercial Lending organization as it relates to volume, efficiencies, performance, and individual performance Work on projects for new analysis initiatives and ensure projects are delivered on time Establish a strong relationship with customers and management through a demonstration of industry knowledge and of the business issues at hand Analyze current Commercial processes and make recommendations for improvements Learn how to perform reporting, ad hoc data mining, and analytical functions as needed to support information requests from all Commercial departments Utilize best practices of data analysis and validation to ensure data results are accurate Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of data and information resources Maintain a status on all projects and proactively communicate with management and team Conduct data and business analysis utilizing data mining and spreadsheet skills Summarize findings, develop recommendations and present analyses to management in a clear, concise, convincing, and actionable format Enhance knowledge of operational and portfolio metrics to assess risk Conduct data and business analysis utilizing data mining and spreadsheet skills Communicate findings, develop recommendations, and present analyses to management in a clear, concise, convincing, and actionable format Qualifications Qualifications Must be a current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or other related major with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship. Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 (out of a 4-point scale) overall GPA. Senior or Graduate level classification preferred. Some proficiency in SAS, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Excel preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills required. This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders. Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required. Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Must be able to work independently or in a team setting. Previous internships are considered a plus.
