Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
This individual will work with new product introduction (NPI) Engineers to print prototype parts for new product development. Responsible for the setting up of our 3D metal printer to make small plastic injection molding mud units. Investigate other opportunities for Additive Manufacturing in a low volume high mix environment. Will work on intercompany projects of low / medium complexity and scope. May perform multiple and parallel activities across projects. Works independently or with others on project issues to develop various resolution options.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Make edits / corrections to drawings in PTC CreoCreate Parts or assemblies in PTC CreoOperate our FDM, Objet, and Metal 3D printersInvestigate the use and possible setup of GrabCAD Shop softwareEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Familiarity using PTC Creo to create models and drawings.Some knowledge of AutoCad and SolidWorks.Familiarity with 3D printing softwareKnowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.Familiar with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.TRAVEL
