Our Internship Program is designed to provide students with unique experiences in their field of interest while providing valuable insight into other key areas of the business. T. Marzetti is looking for an intern to join the Communications Team in the summer of 2025! Over the course of our 12-week program, our interns will gain: Practical Experience: Take ownership in meaningful projects and share innovative ideas to gain relevant experience in Corporate Communications and Affairs. Professional Development: Develop your professional network by connecting with colleagues, managers, and fellow interns through social activities, volunteer opportunities, and development sessions with company leadership. Career Advancement: Potential for part-time and full-time employment based on your performance and the company’s needs. Responsibilities Support both our Communications and Corporate Affairs teams in crafting and executing strategies that enhance our corporate image and strengthen stakeholder relationships. Content Creation: Assist in drafting and editing press releases, blog posts, social media content, and internal communications. Media Relations: Support the team in maintaining media lists, monitoring media coverage, and preparing media briefs. Event Coordination: Help organize and coordinate corporate events, including press conferences, meetings, and community outreach activities. Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and public relations best practices to support strategic planning. Social Media Management: Assist in managing and updating social media channels, including scheduling posts and engaging with followers. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including organizing documents, scheduling meetings, and preparing presentations. Stakeholder Engagement: Help in drafting communications for various stakeholders, including employees, clients, and partners. Qualifications Enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate accredited University with a focus in: Communications, Public Affairs, and Political Science Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities and/or work experience Exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills Demonstrates sound judgment and applies logical thinking when creating solutions Demonstrates curiosity, creativity, and initiative Exceptional organization and project management skills with an ability to prioritize deadlines Displays a professional, positive attitude with team members Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office® applications, specifically Microsoft Excel
