Your role
Are you passionate about computational oncology and eager to make a real impact in cancer research? As an Intern in Computational Oncology, you will work at the intersection between biology and data science. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of scientists to analyze and interpret single cell sequencing data and other complex datasets and contribute to the discovery of new therapeutic strategies. In particular, you will address the challenge of applying single-cell sequencing data to identify new drug targets and support our early research programs. The position is based in Darmstadt, Germany, and we offer a hybrid work model.
Who you are
You are currently pursuing a master’s degree in biology, biotechnology, medicine, molecular medicine, computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related field.You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for oncology research.You are proficient in R.You are familiar with single-cell sequencing data analysis and relevant bioinformatics tools.You are an enthusiastic, creative, goal-oriented, pro-active and out-of-the-box thinker with a strong ability to work collaboratively.You have excellent English communication skills. Both written and spoken.You are eager to learn and contribute to innovative research projects.
