Global Internship Program:
Exciting opportunity to be part of the Labcorp 2025 Global Internship Program as a Clinical Diagnostic Lab Assistant Interns in the Clinical Diagnostic Lab in Raritan, New Jersey.
In this lab, interns work in a fast paced, production type environment and will be responsible for performing various non-technical tasks within the laboratory. An intern will learn about lab departments and types of testing that occur. Every day Labcorp employees make a difference in the way the medical community receives accurate results for our clients and patients.

Internship Assignment Summary:
Perform tasks within the assigned department to include: Receiving/Accessioning of specimens. Aliquoting of specimens for initial and confirmatory testing. Assisting Technologists with management of workflow and re-filling of reagents and QC. Loading and unloading of initial testing batches onto the screening instrumentation in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and supervisor guidance. Maintain inventory of laboratory or instrument supplies and reagents. Notify appropriate personnel or supervisor of any shortages. Follow proper chemical waste disposal procedures, and handling of chemicals according to the safety manual and Material Safety Data SheetPerform and record instrument and equipment maintenance and function checks.Understand and comply with all laboratory and safety policies.Perform other assigned projects including, process improvements,Education/Qualifications/Skills:
Working towards bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science (preferred), or biochemistry, biology, or chemistry, and not graduating before November 2025.Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional settingAbility to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleaguesMust be able to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailDemonstrated ability to work effectively in fast paced, high-volume environment and while prioritizing and manage multiple tasksAble to work independently under general supervisionExpressed desire and interest to work in a laboratory as a technologist after completing an undergraduate degreeMust be able to regularly lift, carry, and rotate/turn with up to thirty poundsCannot be graduating before November 2025Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday – 7:00am to 3:30pm, some flexibility to overnight shifts to see different departments in action.
Pay Range: $17.00-$21.00/hr
