What You Will Do:
The Guidehouse Internship Program staffs interns on real world projects, showcases the Guidehouse culture, and provides Interns with a meaningful experience at a global professional services organization. Interns work with teams and provide real-time deliverables in support of the clients. Each intern is paired with a Buddy to serve as a resource that can assist them in navigating their Guidehouse experience.
Highlights of the Guidehouse Internship Program include:

Guidehouse’s Energy Transition team works with energy companies, global corporations, financial institutions, and governments to deliver on, understand, and prepare for the transition of the energy system, resulting from emerging new technologies, decarbonization pressures, adaptation to climate events and/or extreme weather events, decentralization of the energy system, and digitalization of processes. We support our clients as they envision and prepare for this future by combining our market knowledge, objective modeling capabilities, and deep technical skills with strategic perspectives on the energy transition.
As an intern on Guidehouse’s Energy Transition team, you will work to create and present client deliverables that support essential project workstreams. You will gather and analyze data, identify gaps and trends, and make recommendations to support our clients.
Key responsibilities for this position may include:
Data collection, analysis, and cleaning including reviewing technical studies, methodologies, and public dataFact-finding, research, and analysis, particularly around emerging trends and technologiesReviewing new and evolving industry methodologies Project documentation, including report writing and PowerPoint deck development Communicating solutions and new strategies to clients and stakeholdersSupporting energy system modeling and technical studiesWhat You Will Need:
Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor or Advanced Degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited degree program in August of 2025 and graduate by Summer of 2026)Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the countryNo sponsorship is available for this positionWhat Would Be Nice To Have:
Degree/Majors Preferred: Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical (Power Systems), Chemical, Environmental), Business, Economics, and/or related to Environment or Sustainability Familiarity with economic and financial analysis and researchExperience working in teams to produce high-impact work products, reports, and other deliverables in a fast-paced environmentPossesses strong oral and written communication skillsHeightened attention to detailExcellent interpersonal skills with an interest in learning more about the energy transitionThe annual salary range for this position is $59,900.00-$89,900.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
