Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Multi-Platform Development: Build and maintain applications across various platforms, including native mobile apps, to boost productivity and efficiency for global teams.  AI Integration: Incorporate AI functionalities into business applications, providing actionable insights and driving smarter decision-making.  Open Source Collaboration: Contribute to a shared application platform built on modern open source technologies, exploring new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.  Agile & Collaborative Environment: Work closely with senior engineers, participating in iterative development cycles and rapid prototyping to deliver impactful solutions. 

Education & Experience

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology (IT) Relevant coursework or projects in software development and opensource software

Skills

Basic understanding of hardware and software systems. Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills. Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp. groups.

This position is onsite

Physical Requirements

May be required to sit at a desk for extended periods of time, working on a computer or troubleshooting hardware or software. Occasional lifting up to 15-25 lbs.
