ING’s Equity Capital Markets team currently has a vacant internship position for a student currently enrolled in a European University. The internship has a duration of 4 to 6 months (exact period to be agreed upon) and is expected to start in February 2025.
ING Equity Capital Markets
Equity Capital Markets (ECM) is part of the Corporate Finance (CF) department and advises companies on raising equity on international stock markets. ECM covers many different products including Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), follow-on equity issues and secondary offerings (rights issues or accelerated bookbuild offerings (ABBs)), share buybacks, preference shares issuances and equity-linked transactions (convertible bonds). We have a leading position in the Benelux with more Global Coordinator and Bookrunner roles than any other domestic or international investment bank, and we have been recognised locally and internationally for our award-winning holistic brokerage approach. Together with the (equities) dealing room, ECM originates, structures and markets equity and equity-linked transactions to institutional investors (a.o. pension funds, insurance companies, asset managers, hedge funds) and Benelux retail investors. Additionally, we closely work with ING's specialist Issuer Services team to coordinate listing processes on Euronext.

Who are we looking for?
Since you will immediately operate as a member of the ECM team, we expect:
Master or Final year Bachelor student with a strong academic track record and (proven) interest in capital markets;Preferably in Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Business Administration or STEMHigh energy level;Team player;Attention to detail;Strong communication and interpersonal skills;Good time management skills; andProficient in English.Candidates are expected to reside in Amsterdam, The Netherlands for the duration of their internship.
Compensation
The internship includes attractive financial compensation.
