As a valued intern with our Financial Planning & Analysis team, you will have the opportunity to assist with the following projects:
Perform monthly variance analysis across various business segments, identifying and investigating material differences to provide actionable insights.
Support forecast and planning processes by assisting with ad-hoc analysis, contributing to accurate and data-driven projections.
Conduct research on industry trends and competitor financial performance, benchmarking findings against AMIG’s performance to inform strategic decision-making.
Collaborate across key Finance business areas, including Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Portfolio Management, Reserving, Compliance, and Human Resources, to support strategic upskilling initiatives.
Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to learning and development efforts, establishing best practices for automating data collection and presenting insights.
Innovate and propose enhancements to the long-term Learning & Development (L&D) program, including the Playbook, Newsletter, Quarterly Development Days, and Lunch & Learn sessions.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks.
Confidence in use of MS Office 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Notes, Teams).
Familiarity with Adobe PDF is preferred.
Authorized to work in the United States of America.
Candidates must be local (Amelia, OH) and will work in the office Tuesdays and Thursdays with an occasional Wednesdays for key interdepartmental meetings.
