Intern - Financial Planning & Analysis Requisition Id: 377416 Business Unit: Corporate Location: Charlotte, NC, US, 28277 **What you’ll need to succeed as a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern at XPO** **:** Minimum qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent and currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree + 2 or more years of relevant coursework + Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Preferred qualifications: + Education toward a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field + Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for the intended audience + Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines + High energy work style with a strong drive to succeed + Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment; able to consult with team members and management as needed **About the Financial Planning & Analysis Intern Position** What you’ll do on a typical day: + Have the opportunity to work with this professional team in critical areas like forecasting, and monthly operating reviews. + Participate in a 12-week program where you will assist in ongoing efforts focused on streamlining, improving, and automating recurring reporting and analysis, and gain exposure to presentations with senior leadership + Engage and communicate effectively with other professionals throughout the organization + Participate in team meetings and projects + Act as a key contributor to projects that impact the business and solve real problems + Utilize accounting systems such as Oracle - Hyperion Financial Management + Assist with reporting and analytics + Build and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with internal customers + Provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries **About XPO** XPO is a top ten global provider of transportation services, with a highly integrated network of people, technology and physical assets.
