Job purpose


The purpose of this position is to provide support to Market Access Operations teams as needed. The Market Access Intern will take direction and work in close collaboration with the Market Access Leadership Team (MALT) to learn key concepts in market access, Hospital Systems, Infusion Services, Trade and Operations including analytics and planning, and content creation and approval processes.  


 

Duties and responsibilities

Actively participate within the Market Access team to bring at least two new ideas and perspectives that are actionable and execute at least one of those ideas within 6 monthsParticipate in leadership and field level meetings participating in the full process of supporting market access operationsEvaluate and report on the effectiveness of non-personal email campaigns and operations monthly. Provide insights and recommendations that lead to improvement in campaign performance metricsEngage in, document, and present at least two decision support opportunities related to best practices in Account Execution, Public Policy and ReimbursementCandidates will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resources and drive profitable growth of our supported brands by showing high emotional intelligence and understanding the needs and drivers of our teams, patients, and partners


Education / Position Requirements

Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate programStrong interest in the pharmaceutical industry with emphasis on understanding the key business drivers in market accessStrong analytical skills; advanced use of Excel & PowerBI is a plusInterpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with peersEffective verbal and written communication skills; use of PowerPoint and Word a plusDemonstrate flexibility, innovation, and initiative with desire to share new ideas and perspectives

 

 

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

Part Time  10 -20 hours per week
