Intern - Forecast Analyst

The Forecast Analyst role at Micron involves working on projects related to our Forecast Analyst Team. The primary responsibility is to develop and manage the 3-9 month sales plan for each Business Unit. This role requires analyzing forecast, supply, and marketing data to provide Sales and Business Unit leadership with a forward-looking view of the sales plan. Additionally, the Forecast Analyst will collaborate with internal teams to ensure appropriate support for various segments and identify opportunities for additional sales growth.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage the 3-9 month sales plan for each Business Unit.Analyze forecast, supply, and marketing data to provide insights to Sales and Business Unit leadership.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure segment support and evaluate opportunities for sales growth.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will possess:

Exceptional written and oral communication skills.A detail-oriented approach with the ability to track sales progress over time.A strong bias for action, attention to detail, and the ability to drive tasks to completion assertively.A desire to work with cross-functional teams across multiple sites while managing high-priority deliverables.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data into meaningful insights.Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Tableau, and Power BI.

Education:

Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, business analytics, data science, or supply chain.Must be a current student, with an expected graduation date after September 2025.
