Micron’s corporate sustainability team leads sustainability strategy and the integration of environmental and social issues into Micron’s functions and culture, as well as engagement with internal and external stakeholders on sustainability issues. As an intern working with the team, you will play an important role in several projects to enhance Micron’s sustainability efforts, while gaining exposure to a range of team members and functions that contribute to Micron’s sustainability performance. Based on team needs and your expertise and interests, you may contribute to work in:
Analyzing evolving customer, investor, and government sustainability expectationsResponding to requests for information about corporate sustainability issuesConducting sustainability risk and impact assessmentsAssessing opportunities in circular electronicsSupporting internal or industry collaborations to advance sustainabilityQualifications:
Pursuing a graduate degree in business, sustainability, engineering, human rights or an environmental disciplineStrong written and verbal communication skillsEffective time management skills and ability to balance workload across 3+ concurrent projectsAbility to work both independently and with distributed teamsStrong research and analytical skillsAbility to work on-site with team members in San Jose, CA Mondays-Thursdays during the summer.The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$43.15 - $55.82Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
