SummaryWe are seeking a motivated HR Intern - Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) will assist the HR and Safety teams in developing, implementing, and maintaining workplace safety programs. This internship offers hands-on experience in workplace safety, compliance, and risk management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and passionate about promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in conducting workplace safety inspections and auditsSupport the implementation of OSHA regulations and company safety policiesHelp develop and update safety training materials and proceduresParticipate in incident investigations and risk assessmentsMonitor and maintain safety records and compliance documentationAssist in conducting safety meetings and training sessionsResearch and analyze health and safety trends and best practicesSupport the team in ensuring a safe and compliant work environmentFollows safety proceduresOther duties may be assigned Preferred Qualifications:Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related fieldBasic knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety principles Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record (in accordance with our Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record Check Criteria)Ability to pass a background check screening in accordance with Florida’s Jessica Lunsford Act (or equivalent state classification)Ability to read and write, including interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, as well as writing routine reports and correspondence and speaking effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and customers/clients. Computer skills sufficient to operate a laptop, including sending and receiving emails.Mathematical skills sufficient to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form.
