The primary function of the Intern in this role is to assist the team and will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of CCHS HR Operations Department. The intern will experience collaborative teamwork, opportunity to problem solve and day to day office operation. The goal is to provide opportunities to encourage professional and personal growth over a 4-year period.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze business goals, objectives and needsHelp plan and design business processes and make recommendations for improvementPerform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as neededAssist in preparing information and research materials; create and maintain PowerPoint presentations Assist in resolving business issues using systems and dataHelp launch new initiatives upon departments request and directionPerform research and analysis in support of operationsManage databases and input informationShadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasksAid the HR Transactions team with Tuition & Fitness ReimbursementsTriage service tickets receivedProvide support for ongoing auditsHelp to update and maintain SOP’s & Training ManualsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma is required OR GEDEnrollment in higher education (associate, bachelor, or master) within related fieldKNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to absorb material from trade publications, academic and industry sources.Ability to learn new information.
