Overview Assists directorate, supervisors, and/or other staff members with projects as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Intern I - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or six months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. No additional experience required. Intern II - Associate's degree from 2-year college or technical school; or two years (60 credit hours) coursework from a four (4) year college or university. No additional experience required. Intern III - Must have completed or be in their junior or senior year of college at a four (4) year accredited college or university. No additional required. Intern IV - Must have completed Bachelor's Degree at a four (4) year accredited college or university and currently enrolled in a graduate program. No additional required. COMPUTER SKILLS An individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS A valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating may be required by department. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must be able to operate standard office equipment and computer software. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
