WATE-TV is currently accepting News Internship applications for the 2025 Spring semester. Internships for this semester are unpaid. Interns must be receiving college credit. WATE News internships are designed for aspiring broadcast journalists seeking hands-on experience in a local newsroom. Interns will potentially work with reporters, photojournalists, and producers.

Internship Details:

Internship schedules will be based on requirements from college or universityInterns will be well-supervised and participate in a meaningful learning experienceUpon completion of the internship, students will be evaluated through a written review by the internship supervisor

Requirements & Skill:

Juniors and seniors studying broadcast journalism, video production, or other communication degreesInternships must be for school creditBe of advanced skill level due to complexity of projectsA collaborative worker with a willingness to learnPrevious internship experience a plusabide by all safety rules and procedures of Company.exert best efforts in receiving training and cooperate with and follow the instructions of employees of Companymaintain strictly the confidences of Company, the customers of Company, all information or data received regarding Company and any of its trade secrets or any other confidential business information received by the Student
