Micron is looking for a passionate and innovative IT Software Engineering Intern to join our Host Automation team. As an IT Software Engineering Intern, you will work on developing and maintaining software solutions that automate Fab equipment operations and integrate them with our internal systems. You will also have the opportunity to learn from expert software engineers and collaborate with other interns and staff members.

Responsibilities:Design, code, test, and debug software applications using various technologies and toolsAssist with the implementation of new features and enhancements for Fab equipment/toolsProvide support, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues and bugsDocument and update software specifications and user manualsResearch and evaluate new technologies and best practicesParticipate in code reviews and team meetings

Requirements:Experience with scripting languages, such as Perl or PythonExperience with Unix-like operating systemsExperience with application programming interfacesExperience with version control systems, such as GitExperience with software testing toolsExperience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOpsExperience with continuous monitoring tools like SplunkUnderstanding of ITIL Incident, Release, Change, and Problem Management practicesKnowledge of software engineering principles and methodologies, such as agile and Scrum or KanbanExcellent communication and social skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements
