Land Development Intern will assist the Land Development Department with land development take-offs, site analysis and overall support of the land development process.  Interns will receive exposure to the land development function including vendor relations, bid processes and land development budgets.  The position will shadow/assist the Land Development Team in completion of the following duties: 

-  Site inspection for progress and quality to report to Land Team, including safety and storm water compliance
-  Take-off process including exposure to land development bid items
-  Develop and maintain relationships with community management teams and field associates
-  Cost comparisons between current construction practices and new information derived from resources (value-engineering).
-  Compliance reporting

Ideal candidate will be someone who is actively pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Design or Construction Management and possess a strong desire to pursue a career in the homebuilding industry.
