About the Learning Solutions Team

Our Learning Solutions team is a group of innovative professionals who design and develop training materials for the pharma and biotech industry. We collaborate closely with clients to create engaging deliverables like virtual and live meeting workshops, eModules, videos, podcasts, and other resources such as job aids. Our primary audience includes pharma field teams—such as sales reps, Medical Science Liaisons, and managers—though we also develop training for other roles within the industry like marketers and clinical investigators.

This Opportunity

We're looking for a summer intern to join our Learning Strategy team, bringing a curiosity about learning and development and a keen interest in life sciences. As part of our collaborative, results-driven environment, you'll gain exposure to the life sciences industry while contributing to impactful projects. If you enjoy problem-solving, thinking creatively, and learning quickly, this role offers a great opportunity for growth.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work closely with a Learning Strategist and may be tasked with the following:

Participate in client meetings to understand project needsHelp design and review learning solutionsCreate PowerPoint slides to visually communicate our recommendationsAssist with drafting deliverables, including workshop presentations, facilitator guides, participant guides, and transcripts for eModules and videosContribute to project meetings and provide updatesCompile and report on daily workload summaries

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who has demonstrated initiative, strong integrity, and a results-oriented mindset. Ideal candidates will:

Be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (business, life sciences, journalism, creative writing, or a related field)Have a passion for learning, writing, and problem-solvingBe proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and have strong PowerPoint skillsExhibit excellent oral and written communication skillsDemonstrate exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects

Additional Considerations

A demonstrated interest in life sciences is helpful, but not required. (For example, participation in science-related clubs or coursework)Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry is a plus but not essentialCandidates must be a minimum of a Rising Junior and currently enrolled full time in Spring/Summer or Spring/Fall ’25 semesters.  The Commercial Summer Intern Program runs from May 19, 2025 to August 8, 2025 and all positions will work full time (up to 40 hours per week).  The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $24-$28/hr. and will vary based on the candidate’s semesters completed in school.    At Syneos Health, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace.
