Job Description

The Logistics Controlling Intern will participate in various activities to gain exposure to Continental Controlling and Logistics Operations processes and procedures. Intern is to support the Logistics Controlling group, working on various tasks related to Costing and Accounting, linking these to the Logistics operations, and the month end close process.  Work consists of a variety of duties including account analysis and reconciliation, invoice coding and freight invoice automation, cost reporting, and may involve short assignments in other departments.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Student currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program for at least another 12 months and can dedicate 12 months toward this internshipAble to come onsite to our Fort Mill, SC Tire HQs 3 days/week (Mon-Fri)Student working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business AdministrationCoursework in Accounting & BusinessAble to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri)Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8 or higherProficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Excellent time management and organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills
