Intern (m/f/d) Financial Analyst in Planning & Controlling, Starting Feb/March 2025

Within the Finance Department, reporting to the Head of Costs & Holdings Controlling Team, you will join the team in charge of costs controlling across Allianz Partners. You will actively participate to cost steering, forecasting and budgeting. You are key to contribute to ensure transparency on costs and strong planning & controlling processes. 

The position is   a “Stage” (full time starting Feb/March for 4-6 months). Applicants need to be currently enrolled in a French higher education institution

 

What you do Key responsibilities :

Support senior financial analysts and project managers across all activities such as regular controlling and forecast/budget cycles, as well as transformation projects and process improvements Interact with other stakeholders on costs topics across countries and functions Develop ad-hoc reports and  financial analysis, participate in the maintenance of costs controlling tools


What you bring Profile sought and key requirements :

Ongoing education in the area of finance, economics, business administration in a French institute (French language not needed), Business school with strong Accounting/Financial analysis component or Master degree in Finance/Accounting/Controlling Fluent in English (verbal and written), any other language is a plus Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, team player Strong financial and analytical skills and very high focus on accuracy Appetence for project management in a complex international environment Good Excel skills Knowledge of cost accounting and cost controlling through studies or previous experience is a plus
