Welcome to Allianz Group Risk. We create competitive differentiation by providing best-in-class financial and non-financial risk management for Allianz Group and our Operating Entities worldwide. 

We, the Insurance Coverage Team within Group Risk, are currently searching for a working student who is interested in financial services and risk management, and eager to learn and grow in a supportive, fast-paced environment. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive tasks independently, focusing on improving tools to assess the maturity and impact of risk management functions as well as the risk culture within our Operating Entities of the Allianz Group. This is a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in the financial sector and contribute actively to our risk management framework.

 

How can you make an impact? 

 

As a working student, you will:

Enhance Tools: Improve our tools to evaulate the Risk Management Functions and Risk Culture of our Operating Entities Support Analysis: Assist in aggregating and analyzing results Prepare Presentations: Develop presentations for senior management Support Automation: Aid in automating business processes Related Activities: Support the daily activities and operations in the Insurance Coverage team and participate in other activities contributing to our business objectives This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, providing opportunities to develop a wide array of skills. What are you made of? 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

Currently enrolled in a masters' degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Actuarial or Natural Sciences or comparable studies; Proficient in MS Office applications, ideally advanced Excel; Excellent in written and spoken English; Knowledge of programming languages, like Python and VBA, is a strong plus We can only consider your application if you provide the following documents:

Certificate of enrolment (exception gap year)

Valid Work and residence permit (for non-EU citizens). Please check before applying if you can work with your current VISA

Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital/ Tech etc.) is a plus

Excellent analytical skills, pragmatic and results-oriented Attentiveness to details and ability to grasp new concepts quickly Has the ability to work effectively in a team Capable of working independently with a proactive attitude Possesses sound communication and presentation skills
