We have an exciting opportunity for an Undergraduate Intern with a field of study in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Aerospace Engineering to join our Manufacturing Engineering team at our Research and Development manufacturing facility in Adelanto, California!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for providing on-site Manufacturing Engineering support to GA-ASI program/projects such as one-off part builds, and composite assemblies.Assists in manufacturing and tooling planning activities for programs/projects.Assists in providing real-time technical problem-solving for part and assembly builds to shop-floor personnel.May support and coordinate continuous improvement activities for Adelanto and its projects and/or work centers. Under general supervision, participates in the day-to-day activities of assigned functional area assisting in the completion of routine and non-routine tasks.Assists in applying knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve problems.Assists in developing electronic and hard copy reports, records, diagrams and charts.Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
