Project Title:

A continuous improvement journey @ Micron Memory Penang

Description:

Get a first-hand experience at Micron's automated manufacturing floor and exposure to various processes & practices of memory device manufacturing. At the same time, gain knowledge & skills on problem solving, solution identification as part of Micron's continuous improvement culture.

Scope:

- Engage with different team members to understand the processes and equipment involved

- Involve in data collection and analysis activities with the team to achieve manufacturing excellence

- Work with various team member to identify potential solutions for improvements

Supporting team:

- Manufacturing team

- Engineering team

Deliverables:

- Obtain good understanding and able to provide basic overview of the manufacturing processes and systems involved.

- Able to perform data collection in an independent and accurate manner.

- Brainstorm creative ideas, leading to implementation of improvements & solutions for projects

Stretch Goals:

- Contribute with continuous improvement ideas
